2022-23 Ohio Division III High School Rankings
215 pounds
We have a new #1 at 215! After winning the Harrison Central district, Lucas Thomas deserves the most outstanding wrestler award by pinning former #1 Griffith in the district finals. Thomas also beat #2 Hitchcock, who beat Griffith in the sectional finals the week prior. However, Hitchcock will bounce back to place third, so he will be the new #2 ahead of Griffith. Harrison Central hosted #1, 2, and 3, with Perry hosting the #4, 5, and 6-ranked wrestlers. Colucci became the new #4 after jumping Nzekwe with a 7-5 victory over him in the Perry semi-finals. He won the district after taking out #6 Shellenbarger in the district finals.
Gillig won his district, so he will move up to #7. 8-10 created some shakeups after Troy clocked in as the third strongest district at the weight. Fox overall won the district, jumping to #8. Stacy would fall a few spots to #10 after losing to Schafer in the Troy semi-finals.
