Meet the Champions:

1A:    Nick Renteria - IC Catholic, Senior 28-1

2A:    Colby Crouch - Triad, Sophomore 35-0

3A:    Benjamin Davino - Saint Charles East, Sophomore 37-1

With a few late 2A additions, 120 became one of the deeper weights in Illinois. Renteria finished his high school career by earning a 1A title with a strong senior campaign. Davino earned his second state title in as many years rolling through the state with three tech falls and a decision. However, it was the 2A final that was the main event showcasing two of the best underclassmen in the country. Crouch edged Cox to earn his first state title after missing last year due to injury and capping off an undefeated season.

Other storylines from 120 include Odiotti becoming the first state finalist for Loyola Academy.
