Meet the Champions

1A:    Michael Calcagno - IC Catholic, Sophomore 21-1

2A:    Shane Moran - Crystal Lake South, Senior 36-4

3A: Josh Knudten - Libertyville, Senior 39-3

In 3A, Knudten knocked off nationally-ranked Bradley Gillum in overtime to earn the state title. Moran dominated to the finals and edged Matty Jens in the finals to find gold at 2A.  Calcagno earned the 1A title with a major decision over Unity's Grant Albaugh in the finals.
