#3 Ferguson had an impressive showing at districts taking out former #2 Johnson of Springboro. Ferguson will move to #3, with Johnson going down to #4. Grimm of Wadsworth also won his district, so he will enter the state tournament as the new #2. Ferguson also majored ranked wrestler Pool in the semi-finals. Camden McDanel pinned #5 Quillien in an impressive district final win. On the bottom half of the rankings, Slaper proved his #6 spot, beating ranked wrestlers #7 and #8 before winning a district title.
